I am a metamorphic petrologist with a strong background in geothermobarometry, structural geology and field research. My PhD research involves applying host-inclusion elastic geobarometry and chemical geothermobarometry on (ultra-)high pressure metamorphic rocks with the aim reconstructing P-T-t paths and understanding tectonic overpressure. I will be applying this on (ultra)high pressure rocks from Lago di Cignana, Italy, and the Western Gneiss Region in Norway, in order to gain insight in (ultra-)high pressure metamorphism during subduction in two different settings.
