Giulia Mingardi
I am a first year PhD student at the École Normale Supérieure – PSL in Paris, France. I obtained my degree in geology at University of Pavia while being fellow of the “Scuola Superiore Studi Pavia IUSS” and Collegio Ghislieri. During my bachelor degree I did perform a 6 months research project focused on elastic geobarometry of mineral inclusions trapped in metamorphic rocks from Dora Maira in collaboration with Prof. Christian Chopin at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris while during my master degree I developed a project focused on the investigation of the internal processes of Mars studying martian shergottites in collaboration with Prof. Park at the Seoul National University (Seoul, South Korea) where I carried some experiments as a fellow research student in 2021.
My current work is focused on the investigation of the relationships between mineralogical transformations and rheology of rocks at high pressure and temperature.
